Giving is Worship. Giving is Mission.

At BridgePoint, we believe giving is more than meeting a need—it’s worship. It’s how we glorify God with our resources and participate in the mission of helping people, all people, get closer to Him. Giving grows our faith, shapes our hearts, and fuels ministry in our city and beyond.

Every gift is an act of worship and a step of faith.

Giving FAQs

What does the Bible say about giving?

God’s Word teaches that our generosity is a response to God's generosity towards us. It’s not about checking a box, it’s about trust, worship, and partnership in His mission. A biblical starting point for giving is the tithe, a tenth of our income offered back to God. But the goal isn’t a number it’s a heart posture.
Example:
$52,000 gross annual income divided by 52 weeks = $1,000.00 per week
$1,000 x 10% = $100.00 weekly tithe.
Whether you tithe or give another amount, every gift is a step of faith and a declaration that God comes first.

How are my gifts or tithes spent?

Every year, BridgePoint’s annual budget is prayerfully developed and approved by our Board of Trustees. That proposed budget is then presented to members and voted on each September during our Annual Members Meeting.
Your generosity supports the day-to-day ministry of helping people get closer to God—across all our campuses and throughout the community.

What if I feel absolutely unable to give or tithe?

We understand that giving can feel like a stretch, especially if you're in a tough financial season. But generosity isn’t about a specific amount. It’s about trust. We encourage you to start somewhere, even with a small, regular gift that helps build the habit and the heart of giving.
If you'd like someone to talk or pray with you about taking a next step, our team is here to help. Reach out to your Campus Pastor, we’d love to walk with you.

Are you trusting God with your finances?

Managing money can be overwhelming, especially when debt, uncertainty, or stress are part of the picture. But you’re not alone. Whether you’re looking for practical help or just taking your first step toward trusting God with your finances, we want to walk with you.
We occasionally offer groups and classes at our campuses that specifically focus on both practical help and spiritual development related to giving and stewardship. If we’re not currently offering in-person financial classes, you can explore these trusted resources  anytime to help you learn, grow, and take next steps in faith and stewardship.
